Premex Solutions has revealed that it will look to introduce a further approved range of fabrics for Epson printers.
Premex is part of the Premier Textile group along with Premier Digital Textiles and Bancroft Soft Furnishings.
It comes after the company this month welcomed the UK team of Epson Ltd to the Premier site in Bury for an open day.
Epson is a subsidiary of the Seiko Epson Corporation, which was founded 80 years ago and has familiar products in every corner of the world.
The Open Day
Premex’s Elen Hughes, Sales and Marketing, described the day: “Myself and colleagues Mitesh Patel and Toby Lunn were delighted to welcome the UK team of Epson Ltd to our Bury site.
“The day started with a presentation on Premier as a whole and progressed into an interactive session, teaching the Epson team about our textiles and the importance of a truly inkjet prepared fabric – a standard fabric on their machines.”
Following a working lunch with the rest of the our team, a tour took place.
“The day ended with a tour of our finishers to give our friends from Epson a greater understanding of how our fabrics are finished in such a way that they are truly prepared for inkjet printing,” added Elen.
Reflections and R&D
Following the open day Phil McMullin, Head of Sales Commercial & Industrial at Epson UK Ltd, said:
“A big public thank you to the team at Premier for their hospitality and sharing the history of the company and technical offerings.
“Also we believe the partnership between Premier and Epson provides real world digital textile print solutions that benefit the end customer.
“Combining Epson’s and Premier’s continued focus on R&D will further enhance the customer experience and profitability.”
Elen added:
“The day has allowed us to strengthen the partnership between Premier and Epson to provide real world digital print solutions that benefit the end customer as well as highlighting our shared and continued focus on R&D to further enhance the customer experience.
“Our fabrics are compatible with various machine models, but we will be looking at introducing an approved range of fabrics for Epson printers.”
